In this workshop, we will examine how the moving pieces within equity are webbed together with white supremacy culture at its roots. Equity, equality, tokenism, marginalization, virtue signaling, policies, structures, history are just a few pieces of this complex puzzle. We’ll be discussing how those pieces came to be and how they are used as tactics for creating oppressive systems still harming black and brown communities today.
