Monthly Learning Session - Community Services Network

Monthly Learning Sessions

Education is one of the CSN’s cornerstones—because knowledge truly is power. When providers understand each other’s agencies, services, and pathways for access, we build stronger collaborations and better serve our community.

Hosted virtually each month, CSN’s Monthly Learning Sessions give frontline staff the chance to learn directly from peers who share timely topics, program information, and community resources. Each session helps break down silos, highlight essential services, and spark meaningful dialogue that strengthens collaboration across the network. By offering consistent, accessible, and practical learning opportunities, MLS strengthens provider knowledge, reduces isolation, and ensures social service professionals stay informed, connected, and better equipped to meet evolving community needs.

  • “I work for a Head Start program and CSN is such a great way for us to learn about and connect with resources in the community that we can share with our families. We have learned about so many different organizations doing great work and have been able to promote their offerings within our community. I love being able to attend monthly learning sessions and visiting the resource fairs.”

  • “It can be daunting to know where to start. That stress and anxiety can be put to ease so quickly just by having one place to look to for opportunities, for advice, and for connection. Not only is it fantastic to have a community of support when looking to make progress in assisting others, but it is also so incredibly helpful to have the opportunity to be surrounded by people who rejuvenate and support our compassion and our motivation to do something great together.”
